Three fragments from a week of looking at things: a projection room, a taxi at the wrong hour, and a room where the walls were doing the moving.

Travel footage is usually a list of places. These are closer to a list of rooms — spaces where the light was doing something worth standing still for.

All three are shot 4:3, which is a constraint I keep coming back to when the subject is a room rather than a landscape: it holds the ceiling and the floor in frame, and those are usually what makes an interior feel like it has weight.
